Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. Her mother is English one-half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English ancestry. Taylor-Joy is one of the five kids, and four of them come from Taylor's father's prior marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area of London. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been traumatic and that she was unable to go back to school in English as she wanted to come back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she switched from Northlands. After that, she attended Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in the school's plays. She left the high school aged 16 to focus on her acting career. As a child, Taylor-Joy had a dream to become an actress and her goals were realized when she received the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
