Mena Alexandera is an American actress, model and fashion designer. She was born on 13 February 1979. When she was in 1990, shortly after starting her career as model, Suvari started to appear in tv shows such as Boy Meets World. The film debut came with the drama Nowhere that was that was released in the year 1997. After her performance of American Beauty (for which she received an award from the BAFTA Award) and American Pie that attracted much attention, she completed her move into more prominent parts. In the following years, she starred on screen in Loser (2000) alongside the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and later played the main character in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun the independent drama from 2002, and the Trauma, a (2004) thrillers both prominent in her work. The other films she appeared in include HBO's comedy Six Feet Under. The filmography she starred in was Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh The version from The Garden of Eden and numerous other films. Suvari is the modeling model for Lancome cosmetics and also print advertisements of Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured on numerous magazines and fashion blogs including Vogue. Suvari is a committed activist and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. In addition, she is engaged in the issue of women empowerment and has been involved in causes that are related to breast cancer and End Violence Against Women campaign.
