Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 in Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. She belongs to the fourth generation of Robertses to live in the Atlanta region, beginning by her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in theater from a young stage. He acted on the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions in Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953. While stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the Air force. The couple got married in 2005 and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they were discharged from the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for about six years. In the meantime, they also had two youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
