Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Her most well-known role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she's directed, produced and appeared in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. She has a younger sister Danielle and works as an artist. Benson was born to a father who is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson's acting career has been booming after the conclusion of Buffy. She was in films such as The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. Her creative talents were put to use on Ghosts of Albion, and she also directed Drones (2010). Buffy states that, after taking the time to count them and identify the Slayers, she discovered at least 1800 Slayers around the globe, from which 500 belong to the Scooby Gang. Slayers are now Slayers when they reach the age of maturity. Soledad's Slayer ability was made public on her sixteenth Birthday. Ruth Connell is set to portray Rowena for Season 10 of Supernatural. It is believed that Rowena is an ancient witch.
