Charissa Thompson
Thompson she left FOX Sports to join Yahoo Sports in 2010, she also was the host for Versus Sports. She was the host of Versus' NHL coverage in the studio and produced web videos for Yahoo's highly-trafficked platform. Thompson helmed the website's presence at major sporting events, such as The 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Her success in both sports brought her to join ESPN on August 11, 2011 where she was named one of the hosts for the new show for the afternoon "Numbers Never Lie." In July 2012, she switched to the popular "SportsNation," enjoying a great run which lasted till it was cancelled by the network. come back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May 2013. As a sports lover at heart, Thompson has also shown that she has the ability to seamlessly cross into the entertainment world of television. In June 2014, after a number of part-time positions Thompson was named permanent co-host to the Hollywood evening news magazine "Extra". As a co-host, she filmed at Universal Studios as well as hosted award shows as well as celebrity gatherings on a regular basis.
